FAQ'S

What can I expect from a session?
Sessions are calm, collaborative, and structured around a specific pattern or goal you want to work , Since hypnosis is self-hypnosis you will be always in control. You'll stay aware and in charge throughout; hypnosis here is simply a state of focused relaxation that makes it easier to work with the pattern directly.

Is Hypnosis safe?
Yes. Hypnotherapy is generally considered safe when practiced by a qualified, certified hypnosis practitioner, or a licensed healthcare or mental health professional. It is not mind control, and you cannot be made to do anything against your will. However, it may not be suitable for individuals with severe mental illnesses, such as psychosis or certain personality disorders

What if hypnosis goes against my religious/spiritual beliefs or I don't believe in reincarnation ?
Hypnosis is often confused with occult practices due to movie tropes, but it is actually a state of natural, deep focus, similar to daydreaming or being completely absorbed in a good book.

Is hypnosis the same as therapy?
No. Hypnosis, as offered here, is an educational and self-improvement service. It's not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a mental health diagnosis. If you're working with a therapist or psychiatrist, hypnosis can complement that care, but it doesn't replace it.

Since you have a clinical background, will you be treating me as a client the way a therapist would?
No. My background in clinical mental health counseling informs how I understand patterns and behavior change, but sessions here are structured as hypnosis work, not clinical treatment. If something you bring up seems better suited to therapy, I'll say so directly and can point you toward appropriate care.

Do I need a referral to book a session?
No. Hypnosis, as offered here, is an educational and self-improvement service. It's not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a mental health diagnosis. If you're working with a therapist or psychiatrist, hypnosis can complement that care, but it doesn't replace it.

What if I'm already seeing a therapist?
That's fine, and common. Many clients use hypnosis alongside therapy for different kinds of support. If you'd like, you're welcome to loop your therapist in on what we're working on here.

Is what I share confidential?
Yes, sessions are private. That said, this isn't a licensed clinical relationship, so it doesn't carry the same formal confidentiality protections (like HIPAA) that a licensed therapy practice does. I'll always be clear about what that means before we start.
